JancyX’s Container system was built using Firefox’s contextualIdentities API. Each Container is given a unique cookieStoreId on creation. Cookies are isolated in each cookieStoreId and are not shared across identities, and all tabs in the same Container will have the same cookieStoreId.

JancyX and Working with Cookies

JancyX exposes two ways to interact with cookies at the user level:

• Switching Profiles - When unselecting a profile, the user can optionally clear cookies on the current Container. See Settings for more info.
• Keybind - JancyX adds a keybind that clears cookies on the current container.
