This how-to will cover duplicating tabs in Jancy.

Select the “Tab” option in the application menu, the following menu will appear. Here, you can add tabs and configure them. This guide will cover the menu selection “Duplicate tab”. After selecting the “Duplicate tab” option, a new box will appear, shown in the snapshot above. This guide will focus on the options below “Custom…”: “Duplicate tab”, “Duplicate tab as related tab”, “Duplicate in a new window”, “Duplicate as a related tab in a new window”.

Duplicate Tab

Selecting “Duplicate tab”, will create a new tab to the right of the current tab with matching URL. This new tab will be independent and unrelated to the first tab, except for the URL. If you have added a profile to the first tab and duplicate the tab using this button, the profile will not be carried over to the new tab.

Duplicate as Related Tab

Selecting “Duplicate as related tab”, will create a new tab that shares information such as cookies, profiles, and proxies, and URL with the tab it was created from. Related tabs are indicated by the matching-colored line above the two tabs.

Selecting “Duplicate tab in a New Window”, will create a duplicate tab in a new window. This new tab will be independent and unrelated to the first tab, except for the URL.
