  1. Select “Edit autofill map…”. You should open this file in some kind of text editor. On Windows this can be something like notepad and on Mac it can be TextEdit.

  1. Your custom rule will go below the text that is at the top of the file. In this example we will use the auth.ticketmaster.com map. After adding the map, your text file will look like the following.

  1. After adding the rule, or making any changes make sure to save the file. If the file is saved successfully, you should see a notification in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen saying autofill map files where reloaded.

After completing the steps above, try using the custom autofill map on the desired site. The section below will go over adding multiple rules to your map file.

Adding Multiple Rules to Your Autofill Map File

If you are looking to adding additional autofill rules to your map file, the process is similar to the steps in the section above.

  1. We will continue from the section above and add a second rule below the one we added. We recommend adding a line or two between each rule, so it is easy to distinguish where one rule ends and another starts. The screenshot below used the etix autofill map rule as our second rule.

  1. You can add as many autofill rules to your map file as you wish. The process will be the same as the step above for adding each rule. You can find a compiled list of rules we have created in custom autofill maps page.
